Giuseppe Indelicato is a researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He obtained a Master degree in Space and Astronautical Engineering in 2018 and a PhD in Aeronautical and Space Engineering in 2022 at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, focusing on rocket engines and turbulent combustion modelling. He joined the Propulsion Technology Group led by Daniel Mira at the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (CASE) department in 2023, working on multi-phase flows and sprays. His current work is mainly related to tabulated chemistry models and multi-component evaporation, while his research interests revolve around soot emissions from aviation engines, surrogate modelling of aviation fuels and reduced order models. He has been involved in national research projects collaborating with leading companies in the aviation and space sector and fuel producers.
