Prof. Sayadi received her PhD from Stanford University in 2012. After her PhD, she spent several years as a postdoctoral researcher at internationally renowned institutions: École Polytechnique, Imperial College London and RWTH-Aachen University. From 2018 to 2023, she held the position of Chargée de Recherche (CNRS) at the Sorbonne University. In 2023, she was appointed Chair Professor in “Scientific Computing” at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers Paris (CNAM – Paris) and is now Director of the Mathematical & Numerical Modelling Laboratory at this institution. Her research interests include high performance computing, data-driven model design and reduction, and optimisation of unsteady and turbulent flows.
